Rescan DMR devices

If the player loose connection to a dlna Media Renderer, i have to stop and re-start it to have the available devices listed.

Also if i play some media locally, then i would like to send the next to my TV the button is not visible., only a new start if the app allows me to send to TV.

Is it technically possible to do a rescan of availabe players while already in a mediaitem's view? If yes a rescan button would be great.
