This is a feature request from ExRNA

We would like to add an account for automatic submission in the future. There is a shared mailbox account [email protected], that is not tied to any particular user, which is perfect for the automatic submission. The credentials cannot be verified via BCM SSO since it is not tied to a user which creates a conflict when logging onto Globus.

It might help them to know that they can create a Globus ID (https://www.globusid.org) using the group email account and ask us to onboard that Globus ID to the appropriate group(s). That would avoid any need to use BCM's SSO service. It would still require a web browser login to activate the cfde-submit tool, though. Also, when we get to the point where they are submitting C2M2 submissions that include protected data, I don't think we'd want them to be using a Globus ID for that, because Globus IDs are not accepted for access to protected data in Globus.

To avoid the web browser login entirely, they'd want what Kids First suggested in #75.
