Hello! Just wanted to let you know that on my system, if I click and hold the slider and then move my cursor away from pnmixer's volume "window", the slider tracks mouse movement when I move my mouse cursor back to pnmixer, even if I'm not holding down the mouse button. Thanks!

OS: Arch Linux x86-64

I can't reproduce this. This almost surely has to do something with the window manager. Which one are you using?

I'm using a git checkout of Openbox.

It looks like this issue is not present in AUR's pnmixer-gtk3 package. I'll check a little more when I can, but the regular pnmixer package seems to be the one suffering from this problem. Maybe it's a GTK2/3 thing?

gtk3 is the default, gtk2 is only maintained for legacy reasons

That's fine. Should I close this, then?
