I noticed that the only available package for pycpuid on pypi is a zip-file with sources, and one of those sources is a C-file, meaning you need a working C compiler to install the package. This is not a big deal on Linux, but on Windows, it means users will have to manually install a C compiler first, which is maybe asking a bit much.
Pre-built binary packages for Windows on PyPi would be nice.
