It is possible to set project members as inactive. That way they cannot edit the project anymore.
However they keep their special roles. Meaning an inactive member with Asset Housekeeper rights, can still manage the assets and a Trial Project administrator has still full power.
This is not very intuitive, since inactive members should loose all editing rights.
I would suggest the following points:
Setting a member as inactive will strip them from all managing roles (Admin, Gatekeeper, Housekeeper)
Alternatively: You cannot set a member with managing roles as inactive.
You cannot inactivate the only Trial Project administrator (preventing lockout)
