Summary of Issue

Some issues with the interface could lead to confusion by turkers and biased results.

Issue Type

  • Bug
  • Enhancement

Description

From Calvin:
Layout is a little unintuitive. The instructions refer to the text fields as boxes, even though they don't render like form boxes. The field at the top of the page (for relevant section of text) is separated from the other two text fields at the bottom (custom and prioritized labels)

When select the not applicable option from the functions list, you're still required to enter a relevant text section

Do the numbers next to each function represent the number of times that function was selected for the current article? If so, that could lead to anchoring, which could bias results.

Environment

N/A
