Matteo from CORE sent an email with the actual link. Here is the text from his email:

At this link ... you can find a sample content that has the same structure and sample content from the FastSync dump

More info from Matteo:

The structure is the same as the one of the fastsync datadump described here https://core.ac.uk/documentation/fastsync/.

In short, to avoid too many small files in one folder, we generate a 2 level folder structure based on the hash of the article ID. To retrieve the files there is a “manifest.xml” that contains the matching between the article id and the relative path.
