Preformatted text rendered in variable width font

On the wiki you can force a block of text to be rendered in a monospace font. This is frequently used for level layouts. For example Sokoban (also uses <replacecharsblock>) and Baalzebub's lair. In the app, the former is just about usable, but the latter is all on one line, which is not.
