How to use it?

I am new to HA. I have enabled HACS and followed the steps below to add Home Assistant Zehnder ComfoAirQ / ComfoCoolQ integration. I have done everything except this: "If not, you can add the integration through the UI by going to the integrations page and adding the Zehnder ComfoAirQ integration". When I try to do this step I am getting an error: Config flow could not be loaded: {"message":"Invalid handler specified"}

I did not have the older "Zehnder ComfoAir Q" installed, maybe that is the problem with this one, maybe it needs to have that installed before installing this one? Now I don't understand how to use it, how to add my Zehnder unit here so that I would be able to see data and control it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure why you get that error. Did you restart Home Assistant after installing the HACS version?

So here is what is happening now.
I installed the missing aiocomfoconnect library using the TrueNAS application Pod Shell (I think this is some kind of Docker's CLI). After that I was able to add Zehnder ComfoAir Q integration successfully. Now I can see the data of my device. Hooray! :)

One thing though - this was my second attempt. On my first try, after installing the missing aiocomfoconnect library, I rebooted the whole docker image on TrueNAS. Then I tried to add the Zehnder ComfoAir Q integration and got the same missing library error. This means that what I have now is temporary, the aiocomfoconnect library will exist until the next docker image restart. And sure enough, I tested this and now nothing works:

This is not good. If this integration has any major dependencies, they should be automatically installed along with the application itself and stored on disk.

Any advice on how to make this comfoconnect library permanent using Docker? As anything added via the CLI is only cached until the next reboot...

I think this is some odd config. Home Assistant should automatically install library dependencies on startup, unless it's started with some parameter to not do this.

Maybe the TrueNAS is using a different image that behaves differently?

I don't know, but from various forums I have learned that I am missing some things that others have in HA. I am leaning towards installing HA on a dedicated system, rather in TrueNAS as a Docker image... So I guess for now this will just be a little playground for me to learn HA.
Thanks for the help! By the way, I found out that Zehnder has an official API zehnder.cloud. I'm just curious, was this ever on your radar?

I had looked at it. There is https://github.com/michaelarnauts/home-assistant-zehndercloud that uses https://github.com/michaelarnauts/pyzehndercloud.

Although I don't think it's fully functional as it is.
I also preferred a local integration, so I didn't spend more time on it.

So far the Zehnder ComfoAir Q integration in HA is working very well and finally I have history of temperature and other things, which is what I really wanted!
