When transferring files from/to local SMB share, transfer speeds are slower than the actual network link is capable of.
If mounting the SMB share via commandline and do the same test, sppeds top up the network link.
Actual behaviour
File transfer speeds are slower then the actual network link is capable of - not a whole lot but it's enough to bottleneck certain activities, especially when dealing with multiple smaller files.
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
Mount the SMB network share via Caja > File > Connect to Server...
Copy a file or folder from the network share to local filesystem (or vice-versa)
MATE general version
1.26.0
Package version
1.26.0-1ubuntu1
Linux Distribution
Ubuntu MATE 22.04.4 (Kernel: 6.5.0-10022-tuxedo)
