Activating the plugin

Not a bug necessarily, however I don't see the instructions for actually making this work.

I have a text file, which contains all kinds of brackets.
I can see the check mark next to edit -> advanced -> Rainbow Braces
I can see under tools -> options -> environment -> fonts and colours in the list of display items, and a sub item Rainbow Braces shows it's switched on, as in everything is set to True, and yet, none of the braces are coloured at all...

Text files (*.txt) are not supported. They are not typical coding files.
