For some reason, I can't get the service to actually start on boot. I haven't really been able to find a lot on why it may not be running, either, looking at information on troubleshooting services in general or looking at the issues. What should I look at?

Does mbpfan work correctly when manually invoked, e.g., via mbpfan -v -f?
