Can't Join The Slack Workspace

Not a code related feature
Don't really see a clear way to join the slack channel ATM. I tried joining through the link in CONTRIBUTING.md, but I am not invited to the workspace so it doesn't let me join any channels. So I guess it would have to do with the workspace permissions itself? Not really sure. I might also be missing something since I don't really know my way around slack so this might also be a support query!
