Loading saved drawing and continue drawing

Hi,

I'm working on a drawing app, and i'd like to save my drawing (which works fine) and let the user reopen the drawing and continue drawing. There is no feature yet in this repo, i'd like to add this feature but don't really know where to start. Do you have some pointers on where to start with this?
