I want to say, I really like this blog post, and it really helped me incorporate some of the techniques in my own blog, to make it better and simpler.

I am not sure Dylan Araps reads this anymore, but there is mistake in the post.

All colors used on this site have a 3 character long shorthand. This enables the use of #fff instead of #ffffff. This is really easy to do if Web Safe Colors are used.

This is technically incorrect (the best kind of incorrect), because you, correctly, use the literal "red" for the color red, as it is the only color shorter to spell out.
