Hello, I would like to know why this app requires access to camera?
Why not only access to flashlight?

This is because some older versions of Android that have the permission request system require this to access flashlight, and I don't have devices to check which versions that are. I will look into this later.
I might work on the big update that I developed the last time I was active on this repo then.
