How can I prevent search from functioning after every change?

If I have typed something in the search field, left it as it is, then do some other changes in the Json document, after reload the search again takes me to the matching string. I want to stop this behavior.

Thanks for reporting. How can I reproduce your issue exactly? I tried but without success.

Try with a json file in code mode. search something in the search bar, then scroll to some other position, type something. After typing, the search would work again and you will be scrolled to the search result while trying to so some other tasks.

Thanks for the clarification. I tried your steps but don't manage to reproduce the issue. Any more pointers?
