.drawio files not viewable? #2782

I'm trying draw.io and saving .drawio files on google drive.

When using the desktop draw.io app (File --> Open... for example), are the files suppose to have a preview? (right now all I see the draw.io logo)
Is there a preview when using a browser and directly viewing .drawio files on google drive?
