UI freezes on svg file

Describe the bug
Randomly while I am editing a graph, the UI element freeze and I cannot access the controls anymore. I have attached a screen recording of the issue that I am able to reproduce, but note that this occurs more randomly during the editing process, e.g. when I move a line.
