I have yet to test this but from reading it I wasn't certain if it supported installing linux images. If it currently doesn't, any chance of adding said support? Would make this infinitely more useful.

I'll admit, I didn't originally see the utility of supporting Linux in KiWI, as most distros already have a decent installer, with support for PXE booting and network installation sources. (Those installers were, in fact, the inspiration for the project.) However, I've thought about it a bit more, and the ability to install any Linux distro from a single utility might be interesting, especially if the latest installation sources could be automatically acquired over the network.
Such a feature would not be trivial to implement. Linux is far more customizable, and far more often customized than Windows.
