@rhudea, @asthabh23, I understand the issue here is about pages containing anchor links (with a #) to other pages which have also been imported.
In that particular case, the original anchor will not work as they are bein modified by the import.
I computed analysis of this exact case and found 9 pages having the issue.
Data is in dataset-hc-anchor-links-analysis.xlsx, check column I ("anchor links to another imported page") > 0.
Taking in account the few instances of the issue + the potential effort to try to automate the fix, I suggest to handle these cases manually, fixing the links in the impacted Word documents.
