Answer time doesn't stop when entering card Edit mode

Problem description

While entering card Edit mode during Review, the card's answer time keeps going, causing the Review mode to continue in the background.

I wish the answer time would stop while card is in Edit mode, and resume after Edit mode is closed.
Here are the settings I'm using:

Version ⁨2.1.49 (dc80804a)⁩
Python 3.8.6 Qt 5.14.2 PyQt 5.14.2
