usage of server in remote.list

I have a question about the option remote.list. I see in the documentation:
It is possible to extract with a preprocess a list of files to download, using defined protocol, server etc. This file must be generated in json format:

Is it possible to set multiple server in the json? For example:

[{ "root": "XXX.root", "server": "XXX", "name": "XXX.NAME" }, { "root": "YYY.root", "server": "YYYY", "name": "YYY.name" } ]

hum, I don't think so....

you could with pre-process download files from multiple locations then use a local downloader, but you would have to manage the downloads yourself... :-(

I think it would not be too difficult to support it though, at least if using same protocol
