Disable Auto-Aim when using Ginput #20
Comments
If you have IV controls enabled on GInput: pressing slowly the aiming button will make you manually aim your target. |
I'll check it out later, but I am curious if disabling auto aim is even possible as a whole for gta3. I know GTASA's ginput had an option for FreeAim, but since this isn't that mod and ginput not being updated in years I thought maybe it's possible to enable free aim through this mod somehow. |
So I tried it out but I think it would be better if pressing LT/L2 all the way down gave free aim because trying to aim move during shoot outs is prone to auto aim when half pressed. Or at the least having an option to switch in the .ini especially since not all controllers have analog triggers I also don't think just relying on the GTA IV controls is the best method for those that might for some reason want to shoot with B/Circle as weird as that is. |
@DTK21 This is not a "fix", but I think you may find it useful. Auto-aim does not work when Classic Axis is installed in the "scripts" folder rather than the main directory (Widescreen Patch required). |
+1 I'm having this issue when using an analog keyboard for gamepad inputs. |
Title says it all really, been trying to figure out what setting within these two mods can make that a thing and changing the Ginput set didn't do much. But not sure if I missed something but if I did, any help would be appreciated for this gamepad user
