I would also like to be able to boost frequencies below 86 Hz in the software. Unfortunately, I can't find an option for this. Is it currently possible?

The integrated Bass Boost feature in Windows, for example, can boost 50 Hz as well.

  1. The Bass Boost Effect works at 62,5 Hz, which I discovered by opening a Preset .fac file in WordPad.
  2. See Adding bands to the Equalizer to allow control of frequencies below 86 Hz #13.

@doolhoofd
Where do you find this *.fac preset file?

The factory-loaded Presets are saved in the folder
C: > Program Files > FxSound LLC > FxSound > Factsoft

The additional ones (Bonus & custom) are saved in the hidden folder
C: > [ user account ] > AppData > Roaming > FxSound > Presets
