I have set up a number of release-monitoring.org rules and I have not gotten a notification from any of them yet.

An example rule I set up many releases (of homeassistant) ago:

has yet to send me a notification.

Ditto for:

Hey! Sorry I wasn't able to look at this earlier. I'll look into the DB and try to find where this comes from.

@brianjmurrell Can you try to put asterisks around your filtered topics? Topics are matched using fnmatch and are not substring-matched by default, having * around them should fix it. (and if not, it would help anyway ;-) )

One of my topics did already have a trailing * but I have wrapped them all with * at the beginning and end. I suspect that is going to find too much but let's see if it at least finds something.

It would be nice if there were a dry-run or test mode that it would show you what your rule would have done/matched rather than having to do this trial-and-error, waiting for new releases (for example) to continue to fine tune matches. I have a faint recollection that the old FMN had such a feature.

This is still not working. My homeassistant update rule should have been triggered by the 2024.4.4 release of https://release-monitoring.org/project/28935/ that was made.

I'm now seeing > 0 events listed for https://notifications.fedoraproject.org/rules/208 and I am getting e-mails from COPR for them.

Has something been changed to fix FMN? Perhaps I will start getting Anyita notifications also? :-)

Still not seeing any events for Anyita releases though.

I've added an Anyita rule that matches on topic: * to see if I can get anything from Anyita at all.

I added that rule a number of minutes ago and there are still 0 hits on it. Given the churn of new releases (of anything/everything) through Anyita, I would expect to have received something by now. I even watched the bus with fedora-messaging consume and saw a number of new releases were made while I had this rule in place:

And still no hits on my rule.

Clearly this Anyita notification functionality is broken. What can be done to get it fixed?
