Complete USB-Driven mode

I would like to put the EF LED Bade into my PC and drive it internally via USB there. It would be nice if we could issue commands via that serial connection to change patterns/display modes. I am not very versed with PlatformIO and C++ and I have looked into it a bit to see if I could find this option, but I wasn't able to figure out if this was a feature already.

I was able to connect the device via Wifi to my home network as well, but from what I can see, that does not allow setting anything yet either? Thanks for answering! :)
