How would I set up BlenderGIS mass save

I want to do a large area and I understand that a large area would have to be saved in many smaller areas. Is there a way to do this based off one of the sides of the part of the basemap that was just saved?

Also is geo data connected to the plane or other added geometry such as buildings or highways?
