When hide top bar is active with intellihide tiling shell is not seeing space reserved by top bar instead it takes all space causing top bar to hide.

Information (please complete the following):

  • Tiling Shell version: 15.1
  • GNOME version: 47.2

Maybe adding additional outer top gap (like in tilling assistant) will solve the issue.

Hey, thank you for reporting this. Unfortunately if that extension doesn't dynamically change the work area, Tiling Shell cannot detect when the top area is hidden. Thank you for sharing a work around. In the future I'll plan to add the ability to set gaps separately (top, bottom, left, right)
