Icon toolbar card_mod

Hi,

Is it possible to use card_mod only on specific icons in the toolbar?

Indeed I added my power outlet so that I can turn it on or off. However I want to know if it is on or not (via turning it to green). When checking, I can't seem to be able to pinpoint how to configure card_mod. Thanks for any help.
