In some burners, the heat transfer between the gas and solid plays a significant role in flame stability. It would be beneficial to implement conjugate heat transfer in the flow solvers to account for heat transfer within the burner structure. This enhancement would allow users to define the solid region and its thermal properties, enabling a more detailed solution to the energy equation. From my perspective, adding this functionality might not be too challenging, given that similar implementations exist in some original OpenFOAM solvers.
