Newer version of XenServer isn't packaging the xs-tools / guest-tools iso files. Without providing the param tools_iso_name it looks for default. How to ignore the tools_iso_name and proceed further.

==> xenserver-iso: Couldn't find a VDI named 'xs-tools.iso'

Have you tried setting the tools_iso_name to the correct value, tools_iso_name = "guest-tools.iso", like in the examples?

@4censord have you? It doesn't matter what you set the value to if the .iso isn't on an SR. Leaving the value blank or removing it also defaults back to the unworkable xs-tools.iso.

Well, i havent done it in at least 6 months now.
But, on my XCP-ng, there is a special ISO sr called XCP-ng Tools

That contains multiple versions of the guest tools iso.

That iso can also just be inserted on a VM
