Toot seems to be unlisted #38
Comments
This is by design. I have no spam controls on this thing and connecting to
the instance will really clog up a public timeline. I suppose I could make
it a configuration switch for admin running their own servers but I'm
having trouble thinking of a positive use case for it.

Oh ok. |
Interesting... hashtags have different meanings on different networks
though. And they have no meaning in RSS. Since this is meant to bridge
federated to non federated services I don't want to like, accidentally
treat something as a hashtag that wasn't intended to be.

Well for example toot containing hashtag can't be found as they're
unlisted which is troublesome

I'm mostly using this to bridge twitter account to mastodon and it's pretty common to have hashtag in the resulting toot |
About the spam thing, I suppose you don't receive report concerning account ? It could be a way to make public toot and handle spammer |
