Can you run it from command line with the --debug flag?

Yep, run it with -debug flag and this is logcat:

This error should not be from the dex split task which is provided here. There is no call to a bash.

Post your script here it looks customized. You use windows, yes you have no bash program. Use tools like cygwin or mingw then you have linux style bash.
