When you are dominating, you don't know exactly how far your are from your conquering.

Here are some ideas to address it:

Use the "red/blue" border to show the progress: the dominating color increasing until the circle is totally colored with it.
If there is a non-dominated status: the dominated color decreasing until it is non-dominated, before the item above start.
