gow does not work in Windows 11 #266

What specifically doesn't work? I am running windows 10. Bash won't start because the /etc directory is missing. If you create it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Gow\etc then bash works. |
I have no idea what I did last time, but I have just downloaded and installed gow 0.8 and everything is fine. I am assuming that Microsoft must have fixed something because all is lovely now. |

The lack of the etc folder has been around for a long time. Why hasn't it be fixed so the install creates it? |
The title says it all:
I just updated my work computer to Windows 11 and now Gnu on Windows does not work (I am back to the old Windows terminal).
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success.
