At least, it is not documented in wiki (or may be fix it??)

Due to this piece of code: https://github.com/basho/riak_core/blob/develop/src/riak_core_ring_handler.erl#L156 if you supervisor has another name, the joining of cluster nodes doesn't work anymore without any meaningful error/info/debug message, because service_up(app, undefined) simply deletes any previous registered information, that this application is available on this node.
