Currently there's no way to easily add tables to the wiki. A step in the right direction would be using TinyMCE or WYMeditor.

Hmm it's a pity the list does not describe which syntax is followed as the actual output, does they output direct HTML ? mediawiki syntax ? a dialect of markdown ? pure markdown + HTML ?

I'm just gonna reply to this ticket and not the other one since they're basically related. They output html. That's the norm. That's why in the other ticket I was basically saying whitelist some tags we need because this markdown thing is pretty limiting, we can't even put tables in there, or use underlining or italics or striking out stuff it's pretty annoying.

actually you can, as markdown syntax allow the use of html syntax inside, so here rather than a markdown limitation , here it's the whitelist that I put which is too small
