I have an FTX-J split unit with the WiFi module.
It accepts all commands from this "unofficial api".

When I send the Silent command f_rate=B and immediately check the get_control just from a browser, it reports f_rate=B back. But the unit does not go into Silent mode, and if I check (just refresh in the browser) a couple of seconds later it suddenly reports f_rate=A.

The Daikin does support Silent mode and it works fine when I select it with the infrared remote control.
Except that, when I set Silent mode with the infrared remote and check the get_control, it still says f_rate=A instead of B. I see no difference in the get_control between Auto mode and Silent mode when I set it from the infrared remote control...

What does the unit report if you select silent mode from the phone app? (Is that even possible? I can't remember and I don't use the app anymore...)

No @StarkJohan , the phone app does not support Silent mode.

In addition, I thought the unit didn't go into Silent mode, but later I noticed that it does go Silent. So the problem is that it does not report it back properly.

Hi, all works excelent.
Silent mode icon is after pressing blue, but after next refresh Silent icon switch to Auto icon.
Blue collored Silent icon is greyed out and Auto icon switched to blue.
If the daikin unit doesn't answer properly, can you substitute this return information ?

Daikin devices is switched properly to Silent mode !!!

Please make some little correction in page refresh.
Is it possible to mask refresh of screen, because daikin screen ist after refresh little jumping.
Thanks.
