Is this possible in any simple way ?

  • Figure out how to import links from previous app

Right now a simple export + import should work. Maybe we can automate that, but manually it should works.

In the new version of the app, link database import/export is as simple as copying datastore.php in a new instance. I don't know how it was in previous versions. Of course, if you want to add old database content to an existing database, this doesn't work. I'll check it out eventually.

Well finally I think it's better to make a fresh new install of the app, and just export/import all the links, via a manual configuration of the (few) parameters. So I wouldn't take much time to automate that in a script, maybe we can just make a quick tutorial in the README ?
Do you agree with that ?

This should be closed as now the app gets updated from old versions.
