"Unknown or expired ID" When attempting to register admin user

Describe the bug

• Cannot login per No Login to Hubzilla #80
• When attempting to register the admin account by the email address chosen in setup, per this comment:
  • I enter my name
  • The nickname is autocompleted
  • I enter my email address as it appeared in the setup interface
  • A message appears beneath the email address input: "There is a pending registration for this address - click "Register" to continue verification" The message makes it unclear whether I should click "Register" now, or after entering a password, and if I am meant to enter a password, whether it should be my YH admin password, or a unique password. No matter what I do, when clicking "Register":
  • A blank page with "Unknown or expired ID" loads after pressing the "Register" button
    
  • Login is still not possible

Context

• Hardware: VPS bought online
• YunoHost version: 11.0.10.2
• I have access to my server: Through SSH, through the webadmin
• Using, or trying to install package version/branch: 7.8.3~ynh1

Steps to reproduce

1. Attempt to log in after new installation at / and at /admin/
2. Attempt to register a user (as above)
