Hi my Systemspecs:

OS: Kubuntu 24.04.1 LTS x86_64
Host: MS-7C90 1.0
Kernel: 6.8.0-49-generic
Shell: bash 5.2.21
Resolution: 3440x1440
DE: Plasma
WM: KWin
Theme: McMojave [Plasma], Sierra-light [GTK2/3]
Icons: breeze-dark [Plasma], breeze-dark [GTK2/3]
Terminal: konsole
Terminal Font: Ubuntu Mono 13
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X (16) @ 3.800GHz
GPU: AMD ATI Radeon RX 7700 XT / 7800 XT
Memory: 6034MiB / 32013MiB

If i want to add the Stratagus PPA to my Kubuntu 24.04 (and yes with 22,04, it worked fine)
with the command :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:stratagus

then it comes to this error message:

E: The depot "https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/lutris-team/lutris/ubuntu noble Release" does not contain a release file.
N: Updating such a repository cannot be done in a safe manner, so it is disabled by default.
N: For more details on package depot creation and user configuration, see the apt-secure(8) manual page.

when will come an official Support for Ubuntu / Kubuntu 24.04 or higher ...i think the Support for the ppa stops with 22.04

can you verify me, give me tipss for workaround an when you can make a patch ?

Best Regards,
Matthew

Hello @schwertmeister2000

i think the Support for the ppa stops with 22.04

Exactly.
If you simply access the PPA for Stratagus and choose the Ubuntu version you can see that there are only three versions available:

  1. 22.04
  2. 20.04
  3. 18.04
