The combination of having to hold the bearing stacks still while getting a part situated, threading another screw in, and not losing a captive nut, feels excessive and unnecessary as a design choice. I understand that there are limitations to what is possible, but surely something better than this could be done?

Maybe take a look at Clee's Beefy Front Idlers

@JKtech3D - I already did, and chose to use them instead. Why they're not stock, I have no idea.
