The active cooler for Raspberry Pi 5 comes with plastic push-pins that sticks quite a bit on the back, and the location for them are exactly next to the mounting holes. Since this cooler is came out together with RPi5 it is safe to assume many people will go with it, and therefore run into the issue. It appears to me that adding just 1 mm to the raised standoffs would solve the problem, as it is almost flush, perhaps 2 mm to be safe.
Hi,
The active cooler for Raspberry Pi 5 comes with plastic push-pins that sticks quite a bit on the back, and the location for them are exactly next to the mounting holes. Since this cooler is came out together with RPi5 it is safe to assume many people will go with it, and therefore run into the issue. It appears to me that adding just 1 mm to the raised standoffs would solve the problem, as it is almost flush, perhaps 2 mm to be safe.
Edit:
The one in LDO repo have enough clearance to mount RPi5 with active cooler -- https://github.com/MotorDynamicsLab/LDOVoron2/blob/main/STLs/beefy_raspberry_bracket.stl
