In Opnsense/Pfsense DHCP it is possible to override DHCP settings for clients by MAC address. I.e. assign a different hostname, gateway, DNS server, different TFTP options etc to a client. Assignment of a static ip to a client is also possible in the same context (though optional).
Would like to see that as well as a feature in the future. Maybe something you could consider in the coming rework.
Thanks for the request. Will take this up when DHCP server major upgrade is planned. This will take a while since there are some features being prioritized currently and DHCP work will begin only after that.
