Pinephone Pro Keyboard configuration isnt working

Pinephone pro

im running the latest release from here Fresh install

i have run the commands -

sudo apt update && sudo apt full upgrade -y
sudo apt install xkb-data

echo "export XKB_DEFAULT_MODEL=ppkb" >> $HOME/.profile

and the went to settings >> keyboard >> Alternative Characters Ket set to Left Alt

and then reboot....

after reboot looks like it isnt working am i missing somthing?
last release it worked please help!

Sorry mate but I don't have the pp keyboard so can't help much.
Can you check the dmesg log and pp keyboard's pseudo file in /sys/class/power_supply?

I guess some packages were removed from kali/Debian repository due to migration.
The migration is completed this week. So I'll build a new image soon. Maybe the issue is due to the missing packages.

Can you test the recent image if the pp keyboard is working or not?
