Using an official certificate, not created with the Yast or other interface on the server, we configured the smt apache vhost with SSLCertificateChainFile. I have the impression that check_copy_cert does not take the possibility into account that the parent certificate of the one provided in SSLCertificateFile is not yet a known CA certificate in /etc/ssl/certs/, but has to search higher in the certificate chain.
