Hi @ZNO-beep I totally understand your frustrations because the entire reason that I started writing this application was because I found it to be an incredible pain in the butt to track my options using Excel or Google Sheets, etc, and I'm actually a pretty advanced Excel user! I can imagine others who only know the basics of spreadsheets must struggle to keep track of their positions especially of there are a lot of rolls involved. Similarly, using a spreadsheet you basically forgo the price/data/portfolio integration that you can get with your broker's data and market data unless you are a very advanced Excel user who understands DDE or other technologies. I like the looks of ONE and many people that I trade with use it. For me, it is too expensive (I'm Canadian) for the added value that I would get from it. Maybe in the future once I get more into modelling trades then I'd find it worthwhile for me. Honestly, I don't think that as a Canadian that I even have access to the TOS platform (and isn't Charles Schwab in the process of taking it over?). As a solo developer, it would be very hard for me to create a TOS integration of I can not actually have access to the platform in order to do testing. Also, I am not sure that they have a C++ interface so I would have to hack some type of bridge between my C++ code and probably Python or similar. I'm not saying that it can't be done, I'm just saying that there would be a number of obstacles 😁 Having said that, if there is a way to make it happen then I would certainly work with you to explore a good solution that would make your trading life easier. I've had great success working with fellow user @Flippo24 who has provided awesome suggestions and testing that has pushed the new Version 4 code of this program way beyond what I would have accomplished by myself and we've done so in only a week or so. |

It is not possible to register as a programmer for the time being. Now you have to wait until the move is over and see what the possibilities for API use look like. |

So happy to have tripped across your project.
While I have accounts with both TDA/TOS and IB, I do my options trades exclusively with TOS.
Your application seems to solve some of the problems I'm encountering trying to manage my entire option portfolio using Excel and I imagine that I'm in good company.
I use ONE (Option Net Explorer) to model and record my trades outside of TOS and then use TOS to execute. At that point I generally use ONE to view and manage the trades while continuing to use TOS to execute.
I trade a number of strategies across a number of underlyings across a number of strikes. Besides being a lot to keep up with to record and organize each trade, I am unable to reconcile Excel or ONE with the reality of what's in the brokerage account.
I'd love to see option greeks across the entire portfolio and then also be able to see these subdivided by underlying and/or expiration.
Then there's the risk management piece related to buying power, current margin requirements, projected margin requirements in the event of adverse moves.
Unfortunately I'm no developer, although I'm quite familiar with the development process as the previous owner of a dev shop.
Hoping to hear back from you and learn how seriously you may consider working on this application to create a more holistic spreadsheet alternative for options traders.
