Updating/Patching nested entities using the OData client

Hi,

Is it possible to update nested/linked objects using the OData client?

I am able to retrieve the top level object and related entities using the expand option, however when I try to update both the top level and nested objects only the top level object is updated.

Are there any working examples for this please, struggling to find any.
