Hi, here is vincent from the HK light pollution map in open data make.01

I am quite impressed with the GeoDex and I think this is quite suitable in my use case as well - to display crows-sourced pollution spot on the map.

Would like to know are there any plan on this currently? I think this is cool so happy if you guys and keep it up. I just finished my other project and glad to help.

  • I am not sure how much logic is in ROR, while as a generic platform and using AngluarJs & leafletJs, i think it will be beneficial to decouple the client side. Rails/MongoDb and is popular meanwhile supporting apps using NodeJs/CouchDb will be great
  • plan for mobile version of it? AngularJs with Cordova (Phone gap) could be a good bit I guess

why not have the hosted Geodex responsive rather than relying on PhoneGap?

hosted Geodex responsive is essential,
while for geo location / camera for zooming map / crowd sourcing app api may be more widely supported

maintaing native app for every platform is hard, this is something that direction
